BIXBY, Oklahoma -- Students at Bixby's Central Elementary got a lesson in severe weather safety Thursday.
News On 6 Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer and the News On 6 WARN Team showed students how to stay safe during lightening, tornadoes, and flash flooding.
Students got to participate in interactive experiments that showed just how powerful mother nature can be.
Radar The Weather Dog even showed the kids how weather safety is important for pets too.
Trav's Wild Weather camp has made more than a dozen stops at elementary schools across Green Country.
