WASHINGTON, D.C. -- An Oklahoman took his fleet of natural gas vehicles to Capitol Hill Wednesday.

Oilman T. Boone Pickens invited Green Country congressmen John Sullivan and Dan Boren to the rally meant to focus America's attention on finding alternatives to foreign oil.

"It's important to the people of our state because they want to see us quit sending money overseas. We send 1.5 to 2 billion dollars a day to buy oil from foreign sources," Sullivan said.

"We are absolutely crazy if we don't use this fuel; its cleaner, it's cheaper, it's abundant and it's ours, T. Boone Pickens said.

Pickens says nearly 100 percent of the natural gas used in the U.S. is produced in North America.
