Tulsa Man Charged With Raping Young Girl

TULSA, Oklahoma – A Tulsa man was charged Wednesday after prosecutors say he raped a young girl.

Court records show Cody Wayne Young, 20, is charged with first-degree rape, rape by instrumentation and sexual battery.

Young was arrested last Friday, May 13, 2011.

According to the arrest report, the incident happened on May 10, 2011. The report said Young sexually assaulted the girl in a shed in the 800 block of North Gary Place.

He is being held in the Tulsa County Jail on $75,000 bond. He is expected to be arraigned on May 19, 2011.
