Sam Presti Humble Yet Focused on Success

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Thunder fans don’t hesitate cheering on their players, but some forget who’s responsible for filling the roster.

Thunder general manager Sam Presti has worked hard to acquire the youthful, unique blend of talent that suit up for Oklahoma City.

While he doesn’t hit the hardwood and shoot the jump shots, he has a lot to do with the chemistry and makeup of the team and the success they’ve experience this season.

“We do the best we can with the information we have and try to make the best decisions we can,” Presti said.

He was quick to note he doesn’t make those decisions by himself. He credited his team and head coach Scott Brooks.

“Scott is a great partner,” Presti said. “We’re fortunate to have him.

“He’s a person that is just incredibly consistent and that’s important for our organization.”
