STILLWATER, Oklahoma—The Oklahoma State Cowboys beat Nicholls 76-56 and now move to 3-0 on the season.

Sunday’s win makes Oklahoma State the 34th team in NCAA history to reach 1,500 victories.

Keiton Page paced the scoring for the Cowboys with 18 points followed by Marshall Moses who added 16 points and six rebounds.

The Cowboys also saw a lot of help by their bench play who came out and scored 24 points in the win.

A big difference in the game was off of second chance points. OSU capitalized on those opportunities and scored 17 points off them, while limiting Nicholls to only six second opportunity points.

On the evening, the Cowboys shot 63.3 percent from the floor and 11-of-14 from the free throw line.

Oklahoma State’s Darrell Williams also had a good game for the Pokes, as he pulled down an impressive 14 rebounds, three blocks and 11 points on the night.

Despite Nicholls shooting 31.4 percent from the floor in the loss, Anatoly Bose was stellar for the Colonels. In 36 minutes of play he scored 37 points and pulled down five rebounds along with three steals. Other than Bose, no other player scored more than seven points on the night and the loss moves the Colonels to 1-2 on the season.

Next up for the Cowboys is the 76 Classic in Anaheim, California. OSU will face the DePaul Blue Demons on Thanksgiving Day at 3:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2.

Oklahoma State will then play either Virginia Tech or Cal State Northridge on Friday at 1:30 or 4 p.m. CT, also on the ESPN family of networks.

OSU’s win over Nicholls is also the 27th straight non-conference win inside Gallagher-Iba Arena, the fourth-longest streak in school history. OSU only needs one more home victory against a non-league foe to tie for the third-longest string in Cowboy Basketball history.

The victory over Houston Baptist in the season opener was OSU’s 700th all-time victory inside historic Gallagher-Iba Arena.
