OKC Thunder Assigns Cole Aldrich to Tulsa 66ers

OKLAHOMA CITY—The Oklahoma City Thunder has assigned center Cole Aldrich to the Tulsa 66ers.

OKC Thunder general manager Sam Presti announced the move Wednesday and this marks the third time this season Aldrich has been sent to the NBA Development League team.

Aldrich is expected to play Friday night as the 66ers host the Dakota Wizards inside the Tulsa Convention Center.

His previous assignments to the 66ers, Aldrich started all 19 games and averages 10.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per contest.

Not to mention he has recorded four double-doubles with Tulsa who boasts a 15-4 record this season when Aldrich is in the lineup.

The Thunder continue regular season play Wednesday, looking for its 50th win of the season tonight at 7 p.m. on the road in Phoenix.
