Crews Pull Body Of Drowning Victim From Illinois River

MCALESTER, Oklahoma -- Crews found the body of a 29-year-old man who drowned on the Illinois River this weekend.

Adam Morefield is from Kentucky, but was training for a mission with the Department of Defense at the Munitions Plant in McAlester.

He was swimming with two guys he'd met at the plant when they noticed Morefield had disappeared. They admit they'd all been drinking throughout the day.

Morefield is the fourth person to drown on the River since Memorial Day. None of the victims were wearing life jackets.
