HUD Launches $15 Million Program To Help Struggling Oklahoma Homeowners

If you are an Oklahoma homeowner struggling to pay your mortgage, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has launched an Emergency Homeowners' Loan Program to help with interest-free, forgivable loans to pay past due mortgage payments.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- If you are an Oklahoma homeowner struggling to pay your mortgage, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has launched an Emergency Homeowners' Loan Program to help with interest-free, forgivable loans to pay past due mortgage payments.

HUD says the program will assist homeowners who have experienced a reduction in income and are at risk of foreclosure due to involuntary unemployment, underemployment, due to economic conditions or a medical condition.

The state of Oklahoma has been allocated $15,575,381.

There are eligibility requirements.
