Broken Arrow Mother To Stand Trial In Son's Death

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Broken Arrow mother will go to trial in connection with her son's death, but on a lesser charge than prosecutors had initially filed.

A judge ruled Wednesday there is enough evidence for Susan Grady to be tried for child neglect. She was originally charged with murder.

Prosecutors say she didn't get help for her nine-year-old son Aaron when he became deathly ill from complications of diabetes.

Grady is a member of the Church of the Firstborn which believes in choosing prayer over medicine.
