TULSA, Oklahoma -- Some Green Country school children will be starting the school year off on the right foot thanks to a generous donation from Target.
The retailer gave $80 gift cards to 25 kids from the local Salvation Army Boys and Girls Clubs.
Tuesday, the kids got to use those cards for back-to-school shopping, getting everything from clothes, to backpacks to pencils and folders.
"We want them to be able to concentrate on their academics. We don't want them to be worried about not having the right supplies or not having appropriate clothes," said Sallie Godwin of the Salvation Army.
