Mustang Holds off Edmond North on the Road

EDMOND, Oklahoma -- Fifth ranked Mustang held off Edmond North 55-43; however missed free throws kept Edmond North in the game.

Mustang trailed 13-11 after the first quarter.

The Broncos took a 25-23 lead into half and could never completely shut the door on the Huskies.

It looked like Mustang would pull away after a 37-30 third quarter, but Edmond North would not go away and cut it to four in the fourth.

Zach Grismer and David Glidden led Mustang with 13 a piece, while Ed Baker led Edmond North with 17.

Mustang hosts their regional and will face Westmoore on Friday at 8:00. Edmond North will face Del City at Del City at 8:00 on Friday.
