Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden and Oklahoma defensive end Ronnell Lewis have been named the Big 12 offensive and defensive players of the week after impressive week 10 performances.

Weeden, a native of Edmond, Okla., set a school record Saturday against Kansas State passing for 502 yards in the Cowboy's 52-45 win.

The senior completed 36-of-46 passes and threw four touchdowns on the night.

Lewis, also an Oklahoma native from Dewar, was a big factor in the Sooners 41-25 win over Texas A&M. He had a team high nine tackles and tallied two tackles for loss, one pass break-up and one interception that he returned 11 yards.

This week's special teams player of the week is also a native of Oklahoma. Kansas State's Tyler Lockett, a freshman from Tulsa, received the special teams honor after he collected the fifth-most all-purpose yards in Kansas State history with 315 Saturday against OSU.

This week's honor is the first for Lewis and the second this season and fourth career honor for Weeden.

The Cowboys now look to their matchup on the road against Texas Tech Saturday at 11 a.m. while the Sooners have a bye week this week before traveling to Baylor Nov. 19.
