Oral Roberts University guard Levi Luper is the new record holder for most player of the week honors in Summit League history after being named this week's co-player of the week.

Luper and IPFY's Stephanie Rosado were honored by the conference this week after stellar performances over the past seven days.

The Adair native averaged 31.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.5 steals per game last week, leading ORU to a 1-1 record.

On Nov. 29 against Tulsa, Luper scored 32 points in a 65-57 loss. Saturday against Southern Utah, the junior led ORU to a 109-59 triumph with a 31-point performance.

On the year, Luper averages 26.9 points and 4.5 steals per game. She ranks second in the nation in scoring a 3rd in steals after leading Division I basketball in both categories last season.

This week's honor is the third for Luper out of the first four weeks of the season.

Luper passes former ORU standout Elisha Turek (2003-07) for the most in Summit history.

The Golden Eagles will face Arkansas on Saturday night in Fayetteville and tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
