Teen Killed In Gilcrease Expressway Crash

Editor's Note: An earlier version of this story reported that EMSA had said the victim was a 62-year-old man. EMSA now says an unknown aged teenage female was pronounced dead at the scene.  

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A teenage girl is dead after a two vehicle crash on the Gilcrease Expressway Monday evening.

Crews shut down the eastbound lanes of the expressway, east of the Tisdale Parkway, just after 5 p.m. 

The collision involved a sedan and a pickup truck. The sedan appeared to have taken the brunt of the impact. It's not known what caused the collision.

EMSA transported a 62-year-old man to hospital, but he was treated and released.
