Tulsa Police are looking for hit-and-run driver who took the life of a Tulsa woman. They issued a release Friday afternoon asking the news media to remind the public of this unsolved crime.

It happened in the 2700 block of North St. Louis Avenue, just before 6:30 Monday evening. Police found the victim, 48-year-old Lelah Michelle Kelley, on the side of the street.

Tulsa Police were initially dispatched to the area in reference to an assault call, but later determined Kelley's injuries were the result of a hit-and-run. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Witnesses told police they saw silver or gray, full-size pick-up driven by a white male in the area shortly after the victim was found.

The truck possibly has right front-end damage.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
