An early morning fire damaged a Tulsa house early Saturday morning. Fire crews were called out to the 4300 block of North Garrison just before 4 a.m.

When they got to the residence, flames and smoke were coming from the south end of the house, according to Fire Equipment Operator Joey Marshall with the Tulsa Fire Department. Crews quickly got the fire under control.

Marshall said the residents were not home at the time of the fire, and there were no injuries. Investigators were working to determine the cause of the fire.

The fire started in a back bedroom of the home, according to Public Information Officer Tim Smallwood with the Tulsa Fire Department. Smallwood said arson investigators had not reported the cause of the fire late Saturday morning.

The Tulsa Area Red Cross is helping family members after the blaze.
