Volunteers Desperately Needed To Help Nursing Home Residents
TULSA, Oklahoma - Volunteers are desperately needed for the Ombudsman program sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging.
Long-term care ombudsman volunteers receive complaints from residents of long-term care facilities, their friends, relatives or agencies. They have the authority to explore problems and recommend corrective action, helping to improve the quality of life and care for the elderly.
A training session will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, February 7 and Tuesday February 21st at the Greenwood Cultural Center.
