Teen Shot In Chest At East Tulsa Apartment Complex

Tulsa Police are trying to gather information as they look for two men following a shooting at an East Tulsa apartment complex Wednesday afternoon.

Shortly before noon, police responded to the shooting in the 4400 block of South 109th East Avenue.

The 19-year-old male victim, who was shot in the chest was taken by EMSA to a Tulsa hospital. At last word he was listed in serious condition. 

Police officers searched the Tower Crossing apartment complex trying to determine the actual location of the crime.

Witnesses told officers, two men were seen running away after the shooting.

Tulsa Police say the teen's gunshot wound does not appear to be life threatening.
