A Tulsa Public School teacher was killed Wednesday evening in a two car collision near Hallet in Pawnee County.

According to an accident report, 25-year-old Miranda Titsworth was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, 37-year-old Melvin Shupe, was transported to a Tulsa hospital in stable condition.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers say Titsworth was driving a 2007 Saturn westbound on Highway 412 when she ran off the roadway, crossed the center line and collided with Shupe's eastbound car.

It's not known what caused Titsworth to lose control of her car.

Titsworth put on her Facebook that she is from Broken Arrow and a teacher at Wright Elementary school in Tulsa.
