Tulsa Woman Arrested For DUI After Overnight Wreck

A Tulsa woman was arrested for DUI after an overnight wreck. Her SUV rolled over an Interstate 44 retaining wall and landed on its side on 51st Street.

Samantha L. Ellerbach was eastbound on I-44 at about 2 a.m. when she lost control of her Jeep. The SUV veered off the road, striking the retaining way near Wheeling Avenue and coming to rest on the passenger side.

Ellerbach was not injured.

Officers said there was an odor of alcohol in the vehicle, and the 23-year-old was booked on a complaint of driving under the influence, first offense.
