Ambulance Rolls Over On Tulsa Highway

An ambulance rolled over on a Tulsa highway this evening, injuring three occupants.

Police report the Oolagah-Tallala ambulance transporting a patient to the hospital when it swerved to avoid a bale of hay in the roadway.  It swerved across the southbound lanes of Highway 169 near 46th Street North and flipped end over end into the ditch shortly before 6 p.m. 

The patient and paramedics onboard were taken to St. John's Medical Center.  None was reported to have life-threatening injuries.
