While most roads and highways in the Tulsa area are wet and slushy, roads west, north and east of Tulsa are snow packed and slick.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has crews out applying sand and salt to highways, especially bridges in most of northeast Oklahoma.

ODOT is advising drivers to plan for additional travel time and be alert for slick spots, especially on bridges.

Snow began falling late Sunday and continued into the early morning hours of Monday.
