One of Oklahoma's Own is getting a life-changing present from the Tulsa Fire Department and a wish-granting organization.

"They feel good, they feel like I'm getting shocked," said Sean Cunnane.

It's those little shocks that will change Sean Cunnane's life forever. Sean has cerebral palsy, and until Monday had difficulty just walking from class to class.

The Tulsa Fire Department teamed with "Wishgivers" from the Get Motivated Seminar to give Sean those special braces.

"They're about $17,000, and insurance won't cover one penny of them, and for any family to handle an expense like that is an incredible burden," said Mitch Steitz of Wishgivers.

Wishgivers is a national foundation that looks for ways to help kids in need. They surprised Sean with the braces at the BOK Center Monday and that wasn't the end of the surprises.

The Tulsa Fire Department is decking out his room to look like a Fire Station, because he's such a big fan of the department.
