Both northbound lanes on U.S. Highway 75, at the Arkansas River bridge construction zone, were shut down about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, for about an hour.

Officials are working a single-vehicle accident.

Tulsa Fire Department was seen extracting a person and moving the vehicle to the right lane so police could open one lane of traffic.

EMSA and other TFD units reportedly had a hard time getting to the scene because of traffic backup.

One person was transported to a hospital by ambulance.

News on 6 is on scene. Check back here for more, as we will update with more information as it is received.
