A 33-year-old man fighting with his wife jumped out of a moving car along Tulsa's Broken Arrow Expressway late Wednesday has died.

After jumping out of the car, Tulsa Police say Keith Israel then started walking across the expressway and was hit by a motorcyclist and a pickup truck.

Tulsa Police say the car Israel was in, had just exited off U.S. Highway 169 and was headed west on the Broken Arrow Expressway.

Three other people were in the car, including the Israel's wife. Police say the couple was intoxicated. The driver was not.

Israel had turned 33 on Wednesday.

Officers say the couple was arguing when Israel either jumped or was pushed as the car was traveling at 40 mph.

"He decided to run across the Broken Arrow Expressway where he was struck by a motorcycle. The motorcycle stopped to render aid and when he turned around a pickup truck then struck the victim," said Tulsa Police Corporal Brian Collum.

EMSA took Israel to a Tulsa hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Tulsa Police say their investigation into the incident continues.
