On the Homefront, citizens are saying goodbye to an Oklahoma soldier. Funeral services were held Monday for Specialist James Dutton from Weleetka.

American flags lined the streets of Fort Gibson, and schools let kids out of class so the community could show Specialist Dutton's family support, as they made their way to the burial site.

Carolyn Feldman says she didn't know James Dutton but wanted to honor his sacrifice.

"I can only imagine what it must be like for parents to send their daughters and sons off to war, and they never come home," Feldman said.

"Just let his family know that we appreciate what he's done."

Specialist Dutton was killed in Afghanistan three weeks ago.
