Imagine a time before smartphones and tablets, when the term "personal computer" was something many people had never heard.

On March 2, 1984, the Oklahoma State University Technical Institute held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new building, where it would teach students how to use the computers and robots of tomorrow.

As reporter Joe Taylor discovered, the ceremony didn't go as planned.
