Alert neighbors are being credited with helping Wagoner County Sheriff's deputies capture burglary suspects in a home in the Rocky Point area on the evening of Saturday, May 5, 2012.

Neighbors called the sheriff's office after seeing activity at a home whose owners were out of town.  They told deputies they saw lights on in the home and heard noises coming from inside.

Deputies surrounded the home.  After ordering those inside the home to surrender and getting no response, deputies sent a K-9 officer inside.

The K-9 officer located Michael Freeman, 42, of Tulsa and Kelsey Kellogg, 22, of Broken Arrow hiding in the home.

Freeman and Kellogg were booked into the Wagoner County jail on complaints of obstructing officers and second degree burglary.

Sheriff Bob Colbert says a third man was questioned but wasn't arrested.

Colbert thanked the neighbors for being alert and helping his deputies make the arrest.
