The Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame was filled with the sounds of the "Greatest Generation" Sunday evening.

Jazz musicians played tunes from World War II to honor veterans who served then and the men and women who are serving now.

"Being a veteran, this is very important to take advantage of these days when we can and have everybody else come along an appreciate it with us," event organizer Joe Wilkinson said.

Several of the musicians are veterans themselves. One even played in the 8th Army Headquarters Band.
