A small fire broke out at an abandoned building Sunday.

Tulsa firefighters were able to quickly get the blaze at 5000 E. Admiral Road under control.

Heavy smoke was coming from the building when firefighters arrived.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

"We got it extinguished quickly, kept it from spreading to the adjacent building, and at this point we're waiting for an investigator to come and check out the scene," TFD Capt. Rick Hayes said.

Firefighters say the building was being used for storage, and no one was inside at the time of the fire.
