OKLAHOMA CITY -- Governor Mary Fallin signed the bill and soon, Oklahomans will be able to openly carry a firearm.

But many gun owners will continue to conceal their guns, like Lisa Looper.

"Most of the women I talk to will probably choose to carry concealed," said Lisa Looper, owner of Looper Law Enforcement LLC in Oklahoma City. "It's nice to have the element of surprise."

Looper carries a gun and knows how to use it. Luckily, she's never had to use it, but says she's ready if the situation calls for it.

"You can't get to your phone and call 911 all the time," she said. "You need to be able to defend yourself at a moment's notice."

But concealing the handgun has always been an issue for her. So, she designed a special holster for her gun that allowed her to still be fashionable. But it turns out, she wasn't alone. Other women felt the same way.

"I really never intended to create a holster line; I just did this for myself," she said. "But as I was talking to other women, we've had an overwhelming response."

Her Flashbang Holster, as it's called, sits horizontally just below the bra band.

"Women have this natural overhang here," she said. "It's a great spot to tuck a gun."

In fact, that's what the props department for CBS's NCIS Los Angeles thought too.

"They said they had a scene coming up where one of the lead actresses wanted to use a holster," Looper said.

The Flashbang Holster was worn by Kensi during the season finale.

"When the episode came on, I was so excited," Lisa recalled. "She (Kensi) grabbed the gun. She had on a cute little dress and she popped her firearm out and had it right there to get the bad guy. It was great."

While she is happy with the success her holster has had, Looper says the most important aspect is knowing women can protect themselves and still "dress like a girl."

"Generally, the attacker is going to be bigger and stronger than a woman, and she needs to be able to level the playing field a little bit," she said.

You can buy the holster at H&H Gun Range in Oklahoma City or online.
