Arson Suspected In Rogers County House Fire

Firefighters are investigating whether arson is to blame for a house fire in Rogers County.

The fire broke out around 3 a.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of North 151st East Avenue.

A Rogers County deputy on patrol reported the fire and a neighbor also called it in after being alerted by his barking dog.

The house was vacant and being remodeled. The fire appeared to have started in some of the debris from the remodeling and spread to the house.

No one was hurt. Rolling Hills and Catoosa Fire responded to the fire.
