Preliminary Hearing For Quapaw Woman Charged With Murder Rescheduled

The preliminary hearing for a Quapaw woman charged with first degree murder-child abuse for the death of her boyfriend's 17-month old son earlier this year has been continued until July.

The hearing for Skye Reece was set for Wednesday, but an Ottawa County judge granted a continuance request until July 10, 2012.

According to police report, Reece claimed Lanceton Hollenbeck fell off his bed.  Authorities believe his injuries were too severe to be an accident.

Reece remains in the Ottawa County Jail.
