The Stephens County District Attorney has formally charged Miles Bench with first-degree murder in the death of a 16-year-old girl.
Police say Braylee Henry was killed June 6 after she went into a convenience store. Bench worked at the store and was later arrested while driving Henry's car.
During Bench's court appearance Monday, a judge denied bond. Bench is next scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on August 13.
