Inmate Escapes From Stringtown Prison
STRINGTOWN, Oklahoma - Officials from the Mack Alford Correctional Center believe an inmate who escaped Thursday afternoon is still on foot in the Atoka County area.
Jeffrey Craft, 43, was listed as missing from the prison's minimum security unit in Stringtown at 4:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Craft was serving a 20-year sentence out of Oklahoma County on a 2nd degree burglary conviction.
He's a white male, 5-foot-9, 185 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Prison officials say Jeffrey Craft should be considered armed and dangerous.
