Man Arrested For Stealing Car Left Running At Tulsa QuikTrip
TULSA, Oklahoma - Police arrested a man they say stole a woman's car parked at a QuikTrip late Tuesday night.
Tulsa Police say the woman left her car running outside the QuikTrip at 11th and Sheridan just before 11:30 p.m. Police say Manuel Villarreal, 32, got in the car and drove off.
The woman and her uncle followed her car and called 911. Police officers found the car and began a pursuit. Police say Villarreal jumped out of the car near Haskell and Richmond and ran into a house.
Officers say their helicopter and K-9 units are unable to locate him, until residents of the house discovered the uninvited guest and called police.
Villarreal was booked into jail on complaints of larceny, eluding, resisting arrest and obstructing a police officer.
