Investigators: Arson To Blame For Friday Morning Tulsa Apartment Fire

Tulsa Fire investigators say an apartment fire in the 3200 block of South Winston early Friday morning is arson-related.

Firefighters were called to the apartment building just before 4 a.m.  When they arrived, smoke was pouring from the vacant apartment's windows.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to just the one apartment, but several nearby apartments sustained smoke damage.

An elderly resident with health issues living in one of those apartments was checked out by firefighters and EMSA paramedics, but she was not taken to the hospital.
