A Holdenville, Oklahoma, man was killed after he rolled his vehicle on a county road in Hughes County early Sunday morning.
It happened at 6:22 a.m. Sunday, on a county road just southwest of Holdenville. A 1987 Jeep driven by 29-year-old Brandon Barnett was westbound on that county road when it ran off the roadway to the right, striking a ditch.
The jeep then rolled a half time, coming to rest on its top.
Barnett was partially thrown out of the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene from massive injuries, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Barnett was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
