Two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning were enough to push the Tulsa Drillers to a 4-2 victory over the San Antonio Missions, Tuesday night.

Tulsa pitching, led by starter Parker Frazier's six innings of four-hit ball, limited the Missions to just six hits and the two runs, which came in the sixth inning on a pair of RBI singles.

Will Harris picked up the win for the Drillers, while Tom Layne took the loss for San Antonio. Coty Woods struck out two batters in the ninth inning to record his 15th save of the season.

Corey Dickerson and Josh Rutledge each went 3-4 and scored a run for the Drillers. Dickerson's run was the go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth inning.

The Drillers scored a single run in the fourth and fifth innings to take a 2-0 lead, but the Missions countered for two runs in the top of the sixth on three singles and a walk to tie the score.

Both teams remained scoreless until the Drillers took the lead in the bottom of the eighth.

Tulsa had opportunities to score more runs, but went just 4-14 with runners in scoring position, and left 10 runners on base.

The two teams will square off in a doubleheader tomorrow afternoon, with the first game slated for 4:30 p.m. The second game is scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m.

The two teams are playing a doubleheader to make up for the game that was postponed due to rain in San Antonio on July 1.
