Google is giving a $40,000 grant to the Indian Capitol Technology Center in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

The money will help pay for new science and IT equipment that will be used by students who attend eight different high schools in Adair and Cherokee counties.

Google said this grant is an investment in Oklahoma's tech industry future.
