Man Pops The Question At Guthrie Green

A symbol of the new life in downtown Tulsa's Brady District became the start of a new life together of a Green County couple Tuesday night.

News On 6 captured the surprise moment at the Guthrie Green.

Our camera was rolling when Cameron popped the question to unsuspecting Meghan.

Cameron played their song, but changed the lyrics at the end to ask for Meghan's hand in marriage.

She said yes.

"I had really no idea, because he just said his friend was gonna come out and take pictures for his birthday," Meghan said.

Tuesday night marked the second anniversary of the couple's first date, and to add to the moment, it was also Cameron's birthday.
