After weeks of training, dozens of Tulsa kids finally got their own bikes Friday night.
The kids had to attend several safety programs, before they could earn their reward.
They got to choose from more than 100 shiny bikes, lined up and ready to ride.
Youth at Heart says they wanted to reach out to kids living in Tulsa Housing Authority apartments.
"Many of them, it's the first time they've ever gotten their own bike," said Rodney Gray, with Youth at Heart. "Plus, they're going to get a chance to get away from the video games, [get] out and catch some fresh air."
Bikes for Tykes donated the bikes and the helmets, too.
