Oklahomans Tweet Their Experiences In Path Of Hurricane Sandy

Some former Oklahomans now living on the east coast are using Twitter to share their experiences in Hurricane Sandy with News On 6, News 9 and their friends and family in Oklahoma.

Do you know former Oklahomans now living in Sandy's path? Ask them to use the #oksandy hashtag on Twitter to share their stories.

Some former Oklahomans now living on the east coast are using Twitter to share their experiences in Hurricane Sandy with News On 6, News 9 and their friends and family in Oklahoma.

Their tweets will provide a minute-by-minute account of how the huge hurricane affects some of the most densely-populated areas of the country.

LKPNYC is Lori Parker. Lori worked at News On 6 in Tulsa as a producer in the 90s and has lived in New York City since 2001. She's a producer for the Doctor Radio Channel on Sirius/XM 81.

EEKatLarge is Erin Kelly, a 1988 graduate of Jenks High School who is the marketing communications manager for a security technology company.  She Survived the June 4, 1974 tornado in Tulsa and is now about to experience her second hurricane. She works and lives on the west edge of Manhattan, on the Upper West Side (in evacuation Zone B).

DCRobTV is Rob Hedrick, a prolific Twitter user who is a television producer, photographer and journalist who lived in Oklahoma City before moving to Washington, D.C.
