Tulsa Police say men racing two Ford Mustangs collided at high speeds on Riverside Drive early Saturday. The two cars wrecked at about 2:30 a.m. All four occupants walked away, apparently uninjured.

Authorities say both drivers were cited for drag racing.

A witness told police two Mustangs, one red and one black, sped away north from the traffic light at 61st and Riverside. The black Mustang was in the lead and changed lanes too early, clipping the front of the red Ford.

The red Mustang went off into the grass, coming to a stop north of 54th Place. The black Ford left the roadway and rolled several times in a grassy area before coming to rest on its wheels.

It took out a light pole along the way.

The two occupants of the red Mustang were uninjured as was the female passenger in the black car. The male driver of the black Mustang was checked out by paramedics but not taken to the hospital.

Officers said the witness estimated the cars were going up to 90 mph. Northbound Riverside Drive was closed for about an hour before both cars were towed.
