Mobster With Tulsa Connection Claims To Have Federal Immunity In Murder Trial

The Boston mobster accused of ordering a Tulsa murder is now claiming he was granted immunity from the federal government back in the ‘70s.

James "Whitey" Bulger is about to stand trial for 19 murders, including the murder-for-hire on Tulsa businessman Roger Wheeler at Southern Hills Country Club in 1981.

Bulger was on the run for 16 years before he was captured.

Many say those corrupt FBI agents turned the other way, while Bulger committed his crimes, including murders, in exchange for expensive gifts.

Prosecutors in Bulger's current case say his claim of being given immunity is absurd and they want to see proof.
