The 21st season of the Oklahomans will be hosted by Terry Hood, Amanda Taylor and Becky Dixon and produced by Griffin Communications. The Oklahomans brings home more captivating profiles of successful Sooner State natives in this one-hour special airing on News On 6 on December 19 at 8 p.m. and again on December 22 at 11 a.m.

Kevin Durant is a 6'9" small forward/shooting guard who plays for the NBA team the Oklahoma City Thunder. Durant was named the 2007 National College Player of the Year, the 2006-2007 Big 12 Player of the Year, NBA Rookie of the Year and was the youngest player ever to win the NBA scoring title. He attended the University of Texas as a freshman and then decided to join the NBA draft. Durant was chosen second overall by the Seattle SuperSonics. Durant is also the spokesperson for the Washington D.C. branch of P'Tones Records, a nationwide non-profit after school music program.

OneRepublic is an American rock band formed in 2002 by Ryan Tedder (Tulsa) and Zach Filkins (Colorado Springs, CO). OneRepublic made radio history when its first single, "Apologize" received the largest amount of airplay in history with 10,331 plays in one week. The band initially signed on with Columbia Records but two months before the debut of its first album, it was dropped. OneRepublic then began building prominence through MySpace which later lead to signing with Timbaland's Mosley Music Group in 2006.

Vince Gill is an American Country Singer-songwriter from Norman. Vince Gill has recorded more than 20 studio albums, charted over 40 singles and has sold more than 22 million albums. He has received 18 CMA Awards, which include two Entertainer of the Year Awards and five Male Vocalists Awards. Gill has received 27 Grammy Awards and has been inducted in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Ree Drummond, known as The Pioneer Woman, was born and raised in Bartlesville. After graduating Bartlesville High School, class of 1987, she left home to attend college at the University of Southern California with plans to always live in a big city, never returning to Oklahoma. Her plans changed when she met her now husband, "the Marlboro man" as she calls him in her blog. Drummond began blogging in May, 2006 about ranch life, homeschooling and cooking. She has approximately 13 million page views per month. Drummond has signed on with the Food Network as a host of her own cooking show which debuted on August 27, 2011.
