Elderly Collinsville Man Located, Silver Alert Canceled

The Rogers County Sheriff's Office has canceled a Silver Alert for an 87-year-old Collinsville man.

RCSO says Alvin John Lyles was last seen at 4 p.m. Wednesday, in the 12000 block of North 151st East Avenue, in Collinsville.

The sheriff's office says a Good Samaritan spotted Lyles driving on state Highway 66 in Creek County Thursday morning and called authorities. 

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol stopped Lyles' car and the trooper took him to the Bristow Police Department to await a reunion with his relatives. 

No word on where he had been between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.
