West Tulsa Man Shot Three Times After Dispute With Neighbor

When police arrived they found one man shot twice in the hip and once in the face. Police said the shooter was his next door neighbor.

Tulsa Police are investigating a shooting that started as a dispute between neighbors in west Tulsa.

Police said they received several reports of shots fired in the area of 3800 South 26th West Avenue, around 3:30 p.m.

When they arrived they found one man shot twice in the hip and once in the face. Police said the shooter was his next door neighbor.

TPD said it started as a dispute between the neighbors, that they both had firearms, and that the dispute resulted in a gun fight.

The shooting victim was transported to a hospital by EMSA and the neighbor was taken into custody. Police said the investigation is ongoing and they had no more details, at this time.
