A convicted felon who forced his way into a South Tulsa apartment and held a woman at gunpoint in September has been arrested, a report says.

Klintel Dorian Betts, 28, was booked into the Tulsa County jail on Wednesday on complaints of first-degree burglary, armed robbery, kidnapping and indecent exposure.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed last week, the alleged victim was a broker for a controlled substance transaction between Betts and another person, in which counterfeit money was used as payment.

In retaliation, Betts and an accomplice known only as "Tyler," went to the woman's residence, located in the 6000 block of South Newport Avenue, and used physical force, threats of bodily harm and a handgun to enter, court documents say.

Betts and Tyler forced the woman to carry a television out of her apartment and to another apartment in the 6000 block of South Owasso Avenue, about 2 miles away, investigators said.

At the second apartment, Betts and Tyler reportedly used threats of bodily harm to force the woman to remove her shirt and offered to force her to perform sex acts with a man named Pedro, who declined.

Betts threatened the woman "into taking off her shirt and then putting [her] into the view of the public for his sexual pleasure," according to the criminal initial filing.

At gunpoint, the men then forced the woman to carry the TV to a third apartment complex, nearly 3 miles from the second. Betts then carried the TV into an apartment while Tyler held the woman against her will in the parking lot, documents say.

Later that day, the woman identified Betts from a six-person lineup. In October, Betts agreed to a telephone interview with investigators, where police said he admitted to the crimes.

Warrants for his arrest were issued December 5.

In January, Betts was convicted of two counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony. He was given one year in the county jail and a six-year suspended sentence.

On August 1, Betts was arrested by Tulsa Police for possession of methamphetamine, which violated the terms of the suspended sentence.

He is being held in lieu of $96,000 for armed robbery, kidnapping, indecent exposure and first-degree burglary. He was also arrested on a $100,000 warrant to revoke his suspended sentence and a $5,000 warrant for the August drug case.

He was also previously convicted in 2003 of possession of a stolen vehicle. He was given a two-year deferred sentence and community service. In 2010, he requested the court to expunge the case from his record, but he was denied.
