Tulsa Man Charged With Child Sex Abuse Back In Jail
TULSA, Oklahoma - One of Tulsa's Most Wanted is back in jail. James Leonard Woodcock, 44, was arrested Friday on six counts of child sexual abuse and one complaint of no proof of liability insurance.
Woodcock was initially arrested in June, 2012, for the sexual abuse of a 12-year-old girl. He failed to appear in court on December 3, and a judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest. He is now being held without bond.
According to police, Woodcock admitted in an interview that his "urges" are getting stronger, and he sees a "pattern" to his behavior. He was charged with sexually touching a minor child and making her touch him sexually.
Woodcock's 55-year-old wife Jennifer is also In Tulsa County Jail. Court records indicate Jennifer Woodcock walked in on her husband as he molested the child but never reported it to law enforcement or kept him away from the 12-year-old.
She is charged with failure to report child sexual abuse and permitting child sexual abuse. She is being held in lieu of a $30,000 bond.
The couple's next court date is January 3, 2013.
